The art of web design and “load blindness”

Today, I read some very interesting research about perceptual overload in the context of web design.

What the research talks about is how neuroscientists at the University College of London have identified a phenomenon they are calling “load blindness” – the more information that we see, the more we don’t see it.  

Having recently launched my own website with responsive design and visual appeal top of mind, I was intrigued to know what the world of internet physiologists would suggest to achieve a controlled, clean and successful site.
